Mō Mātou
Te Puna Reo o Ngā Kākano is a Māori immersion early childhood education centre dedicated to nurturing the cultural identity, language, and wellbeing of our tamariki.
Our name speaks to the heart of our kaupapa – "the spring of language for the seeds" – reflecting our commitment to growing a love of te reo Māori and tikanga from the very beginning of life's journey.
We believe every kākano (seed) has the potential to grow and flourish when given the right environment, care, and language-rich foundation.
